Condé Nast Traveler Taps Providence’s The Beatrice as #6 Hotel in the Northeast

Condé Nast Traveler on Tuesday announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards, with The Beatrice in Providence recognized as the “#6 Hotel in The Northeast.”

In Newport, The Vanderbilt landed the #1 slot in the Northeast and other Newport locations scored well. The Castle Hill Inn ranked 13th, the Chandler at Cliff Walk #14, The Viking Hotel 15th, and The Hammetts #24.

And, in Westerly, The Weekapaug Inn landed the #7 slot and The Ocean House won the #8 position.

The Beatrice is a boutique hotel, managed by Main Street Hospitality. Featuring 47 well-appointed rooms within the iconic 1887 Exchange Building, the hotel bills itself as “a stunning example of Queen Anne-style architecture.”
