Paolino Properties Once Again Partners with RIDOH to Provide COVID-19 Vaccines to Providence Charter Schools

Providence, RI – In a collaborative effort to assist the state with its goal of vaccinating more Rhode Islanders against COVID-19, Paolino Properties has partnered with the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH), its chosen vaccination provider The Wellness Company, and various charter schools throughout the city to provide free vaccines to students, teachers, administrators, school staff and family members in downtown Providence.

Paolino Properties will host a vaccination clinic on Friday, September 17 from 2:30 to 4:30 at 204 Westminster Street. Vaccine recipients will then be welcomed back to 204 Westminster on Friday, October 15 to receive their second dose. Paolino Properties will provide free parking for registrants in their parking lot located at 122 Mathewson Street.

“Now that the FDA has approved the first COVID-19 vaccine, I hope that more families will feel confidence in the safety of this vaccine,” said Joseph R. Paolino Jr., Managing Partner of Paolino Properties. “We need our young people to get vaccinated in order to help us reach herd immunity, and I am proud to play a small role in helping the state with this important mission by making these vaccines more accessible and available to our schools.”

This is the second vaccination clinic for downtown charter schools that was coordinated by Paolino Properties in partnership with RIDOH following a successful clinic in May.

“One life at a time, getting vaccinated will save a life,” says Rochelle Baker, the Executive Director of Village Green Virtual Charter School, the host location for the vaccine clinic. “We are grateful to Paolino Properties for bringing their charter school tenants and other community partners together for such an important cause.”

RIDOH and The Wellness Company will provide the FDA approved Pfizer vaccine to age eligible students, families, teachers, administrators and staff of Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts (TAPA), Charette High School, Village Green Virtual Charter School, Rhode Island Nurses Institute, Nowell Leadership Academy, and YouthBuild.
