Each year, Preserve Rhode Island partners with the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission to honor the people who make a difference by protecting Rhode Island’s historic places. More than 300 of Rhode Island’s community leaders, business people, and homeowners, come together with preservationists, industry professionals and craftspeople to celebrate these projects and the importance of preservation.
Paolino Properties was honored to receive a 2018 Rhody Award for Historic Preservation on Sunday, October 21, 2018 for the renovation of the Case-Mead building at 76 Dorrance Street. Managing Partner Joseph R. Paolino, Jr. and Partner/Owner Donna Paolino accepted the award at the Belcourt of Newport.
The renovation of the landmark property into stylish, efficient micro-loft, studio, and one-bedroom apartments impressed the panel of judges, who selected the Case-Mead Lofts to receive one of just six awards for historic preservation projects across the state.
The Paolino Properties team would like to thank their partners in the project for their hard work and dedication in bringing this special project to life.
