PAOLINO PROPERTIES TO INTRODUCE NEW LIGHTING INITIATIVE FOR PRIDE WEEKEND IN PROVIDENCE

Following the arch window lighting at Paolino Properties’ headquarters at 100 Westminster Street in 2016, Joseph R. Paolino, Jr. continues his advocacy for public art in the city by debuting a new lighting initiative downtown.

In addition to the currently illuminated arch windows at 100 Westminster Street, Paolino Properties will debut new step lighting on the top of the property beginning Friday, June 15th. Paolino wanted the debut of the lighting to celebrate the beginning of Providence’s Pride celebrations in honor of the city and state’s LGBTQ community.

“I have been an advocate for public art since my time as Mayor, and I hope that our illumination at 100 Westminster Street shows how dedicated we are at Paolino Properties to bringing art to the entire capital city,” said Paolino.

“There was no better time to unveil this new initiative than this weekend, as our community gathers to celebrate Pride and take part in the illuminated parade on Saturday night. I hope that those coming downtown see this new illumination as an expression of support and take a moment to enjoy the display.”
